Known Issues and Troubleshooting
- Freezing- Sometimes the Amazon Kindle Paperwhite 2nd generation doesn't respond, you can restart by pressing in a minute the power button until you see the Power dialogue screen, then tap Restart.
- Wi-Fi Connectivity Issues- If having trouble connecting devices to Wi-Fi, check that your Wi-Fi is on and that you are within range. If nearby public networks have the same network name (SSID) as your home network, your device may connect to the wrong network. Turn off competing devices, such as firewalls or other Wi-Fi-enabled devices, to isolate the problem.
- Last Will and Testament - Your family library on your 2nd Generation Kindle Paperwhite will not transfer to other devices for reading after Kindle Paperwhite Firmware Update-5.4.3.
