The 3xLOGIC VX-2AD3-IWD is a high performance indoor dome IP camera that is designed to provide 24/7 surveillance footage. It is equipped with a number of advanced features and technologies that make it suitable for a wide range of applications including parking areas, schools, healthcare facilities, retail spaces and more. This camera supports ONVIF Profile S and various firmware updates, one of which is the 1.9.2.4 version.

Using technologies:

The 3xLOGIC VX-2AD3-IWD IP camera is equipped with multiple advanced imaging technologies that provide an optimized performance. These technologies include the use of H.265/H.264 video compression technology, 1920 x 1080p high definition resolution, 1/3” progressive scan CMOS image sensor, and triple stream encoding. The triple stream encoding enables the recording of video at different quality and frame rate simultaneously. This ensures no critical images are missed during a video stream especially during events like motion detection.

Known Issues and Troubleshooting:

The installation of this device may sometimes create some issues for users. A few users have complained they had trouble connecting the device to their network despite a successful PoE connection. Improper firmware installation may cause the pan and tilt controls for the preinstalled fish-eye” lens to not function in some versions or may break up some video during PoE initialization. Whenever issues or error messages arise, it is best to refer to the user manual or reach 3xLOGIC support center for proper guidelines for troubleshooting.

Device Driver:

Given the number of different firmware versions and their variability in addressing identified vulnerabilities and stability issues, upgrade of 3xLOGIC VX-2AD3-IWD device drivers have to be performed strictly in accordance with the manufacturer's directions as incorrectly updated driver files may corrupt the device which may translate to asset loss. Current device driver versions for VX-2AD3-IWD IP Camera Firmware 1.9.2.4 can be downloaded from the manufacturer's website with a downloaded installer file expected to fix bugs and improve overall compatibility with user systems.
