This can happen when there was NO activity on the device for the duration of the player's Default Standby setting. Connect the device to an electric source to waken up . Change these settings under >CONFIG >SYSTEM >STANDBY DEFAULT SETTING

This mostly happens when the Hard Drives or USBs are not formatted to an acceptable File System to read in the C54WMP. Re-format the Harddrive and USB to the required file systems (mentioned below)
