Known Issues and Troubleshooting

Users of the NUC may face immense heat-related issues like thermal throttling due to the small package and understaffed and/or inappropriate cooling system. To mitigate this, use an SSD in lieu of the magnetic hard disk drive recommended for external storage media.
Graphic display issues are present on this device due to graphics not changing aspect ratio as well as screen flickering. Upgrading firmware will generally mitigate this problem. Alternatively, calm the scaling settings in use in the affected graphics; and reboot the system.
